Collection: Sandwich Panel

Premium Insulated Sandwich Panels for Internal Construction

Choosing the right internal panel system is critical for any construction project that requires energy efficiency, fire safety, and long-term durability. Our range of high-performance insulated panels is designed to meet the growing demands of commercial, industrial, and temperature-controlled environments. Whether you're building a cold room, food facility, or clean warehouse, our solutions offer the perfect balance of performance, flexibility, and speed of installation.

Among the leading options available today are our two core systems: EPS-FR (Expanded Polystyrene – Flame Retardant) and XFLAM (Syntactic Phenolic Foam). Each offers its own strengths and can be tailored to meet the specific requirements of your build.

1- EPS-FR: Lightweight and Cost-Efficient Thermal Solution

EPS-FR panels are a tried and tested solution for internal wall and ceiling applications. The panels feature a lightweight expanded polystyrene core that includes flame retardant properties, ensuring improved fire safety in compliance with NCC standards.

Thanks to its cellular structure, EPS-FR offers excellent insulation properties, with R-Values reaching up to 5.85. These panels are ideal for reducing energy loss and maintaining consistent internal temperatures, which makes them suitable for cold storage, food processing areas, and general commercial interiors.

EPS-FR panels are also environmentally friendly — fully recyclable and free from ozone-depleting substances. Their lightweight nature helps reduce structural loads, minimising the need for heavy framing or deep foundations. This makes them not only cost-effective, but also quicker to install on site, especially when using concealed fixing systems that create a seamless internal finish.

2- XFLAM: Advanced Safety and Performance Under Pressure

For projects where fire safety and compliance are critical, XFLAM panels offer an elevated level of performance. Manufactured using a proprietary phenolic foam, XFLAM is certified to Factory Mutual (FM) Global standards including FM 4882, making it ideal for use in smoke-sensitive environments such as pharmaceutical buildings, cleanrooms, and cold storage.

XFLAM panels provide superior resistance to fire, achieving Group 1 classification and Fire Resistance Levels (FRL) of up to 120 minutes. At the same time, they offer thermal insulation with R-Values as high as 6.9 — ensuring optimal energy performance even in demanding conditions.

In addition to fire and thermal performance, XFLAM also resists moisture and maintains its structural integrity in high-humidity environments. Like EPS-FR, it is 100% recyclable and manufactured with no harmful emissions during production.

Flexible Design, Long-Term Durability

Both EPS and XFLAM panels are available in a variety of surface finishes and thicknesses (from 50mm to 250mm), with standard widths of 1200mm and customisable lengths up to 22 metres. Depending on your aesthetic and structural requirements, panels can be installed vertically, horizontally, or even diagonally.

You can choose from multiple internal profiles such as Flat, Mesa, or Ribbed finishes, and optional accessories such as pre-cut haunches or thermal cuts that make onsite installation faster and cleaner. Whether your project requires a hygienic finish for a food facility or a strong internal lining for a warehouse, these insulated panels adapt easily to suit your needs.

ASKIN panels are built using quality coated steel skins (such as Colorbond® Intramax®) with superior polyester finishes that offer long-term protection and cleanability in sensitive environments.

Why Choose an Insulated Sandwich Panel System?

Using a high-quality sandwich panel can drastically improve your building's energy efficiency, reduce construction time, and ensure long-term compliance with Australian standards. Both EPS-FR and XFLAM systems support sustainable construction by reducing waste, speeding up assembly, and eliminating the need for multiple layers of insulation or fire protection.

Instead of using outdated multi-layered builds, these smart systems allow you to combine fire safety, insulation, and structural performance in one lightweight product. Whether your goal is affordability or maximum protection, you can rely on our panels to deliver on all fronts.
